My husband and I stayed here recently while visiting relatives at the nearby Friends House in Sandy Spring, MD. We enjoy traveling and bed and breakfasts are one of our favorite places to stay. I don't always write reviews, but when one stands out as this one did, I am compelled too share my experience. Our expectations were dramatically exceeded by both the facility and our lovely hosts. Nancy and Sue were welcoming and gracious. We immediately felt that we were among friends. Our room (Fala) was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. We appreciated the informal but delicious breakfast that was served on the large kitchen island with an invitation to enjoy it wherever we felt most comfortable. There was a huge selection of food choices with something for everyone and all dietary needs. The kind hosts, the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and the relaxed and welcoming feel of the home made this our best experience at a Bed and Breakfast. We look forward to returning and have found our new go-to accommodation whenever we are in the area.
We just stayed last night (Valentine's Day) at this beautiful and charming B&B. It is quite possibly the most lovely and comfortable place I have ever stayed. Although it is very near my home, I felt as though I was transported to a faraway place. Sue and Nancy are wonderful hosts and made our stay so special. There is so much attention to every detail. We lacked for nothing. I can't wait to go back for a longer stay when I can enjoy the beautiful grounds. I highly recommend it!
Beautiful property, well maintained. Hidden in on a culdesac in a contemporary neighborhood, the ground are lovely. Plenty off history in the home too. Would definitely visit again.
Wife and I stayed for a night and were very happy in the FDR room downstairs. Sue and Nancy were very accommodating with a late check in, and were good company the next morning. The house is full of beauty- we took at least an hour to browse the large common rooms and enjoy the grounds outside. True Maryland charm. Perfect for a weekend getaway or stay-cation!
